U21s narrowly miss out on final appearance
O’Loughlins u21s were pipped at the post last Sunday afternoon, Dec 21, when they took on Bennettsbridge in a tense Northern Hurling semi-final. It was a tough afternoon for both teams as they both struggled to deal with the blustery conditions on the day but those who ventured out to watch were treated to a tense affair right up to the closing minutes. In fact It was an injury time free converted by Bennettsbridge that finally decided matters. Well done to both teams for putting in a massive effort and contributed to fine game of hurling. Well done to all the O’Loughlins lads and their mentors for all their efforts this year. It’s a difficult time of year to prepare but we know 100% effort was made by all. Well Done
