The Cat's new half forward line!!
The future is looking good for the club and if the County Board keep an eye on things don't be surprised to see an all O'Loughlin Gaels half forward line in the not too distant future. Well done to this weeks Players of The Week - Odhran, Cathal & Tadhg. The three boys have been putting in the hard yards at Sundays and Thursday's training sessions and revieved thier awards this morning for their efforts.
A big get well soon to u6 Manager Stephen McCormack who will definetly feel better for seeing the boys do so well. Hurry back Stephen - the boys want to show you how good they're all getting.
Four mighty young men!!.

These three mighty lads are this week's Players of The Week and deservedly so after all the hard training they put in. Always up for a laugh too by all accounts which keeps the u6 panel on their toes. Well done to brothers LJ & Zach Glennon with Michael Nemith....

This weeks Players of The Week are delighted..and why wouldn't they be. They've worked hard enough, trained often enough and played well enough. Pictured at this weeks prize giving - Finn Abbot, Ordain Purcell, Stephen McCormack, Shane Prendergast & Kevin Comerford. Boy that McCormack is fine U6..must by a January birthday!!!
Great job by these four amigos. A great effort by the these boys has earned them this week's Players of The Week Awards. Congratulations to Jake Phelan, Darragh O'Neill, Charlie Shore and Evan Mooney who are this weeks winners.
An army of U6 Gaels hosted neighbours Dicksboro on Thursday evening for a series of mini challenge games. The home team may have out numbered and out matched thier opponents but the spirit on the field of play could not be paralelled in any other code we would suggest. The boys from both clubs played their games in the manner in which our national games are meant to be played - fast, skillful, hard and exhilerating. Every young fella that left St. Johns Park last Thursday evening had had the time of their lives after many had played their very first game in their chosen club jersey.
Well done to U6 Mentor Stephen McCormack who is the only one around putting on games for the youngest hurlers in the Kilkenny GAA and provding the opportunity for other clubs to challenge their youngest players by invitiation to St. John's Park. Infact some of this weeks visitors were surprised they didnt have far to go!!
O'Loughlin Gaels GAA - providing sporting excellence for the young boys of St. John's Parish. Lovely Hurling.
It's hard to believe that we're into Week 11 of U6 training already and the boys are really enjoying it. They're all taking to it like ducks to water but we expect nothing less from the young boys of St. John's Parish. Congratulations to Evan Wall & Derek Cooney who were our Week 10 recipients of the weekly award...
..and they are joined by Stephen McCormack, John Delaney, Adam Lawlor & Cillian Doyle who are the Week 11 recipients.
A big thumbs up for Ollie Wall & Joe Duggan who are U6 Players of The Week for Week 9. Ollie and Joe love their training and are do their best to be there every Sunday morning at 10.30am. They were delighted to hear that soon they will be training on Thursday evenings too at 6.30pm. It's looking good for u6 hurling... Lovely Hurling
